  Connector

Connector is a component that connects harnesses to each other and to electrical components. There are many connector types and variations depending on their purpose, function, shape, pitch, and number of pins.

Manufacturing trends have continously requires improvements in connector capabilities: reduced size, lower insertion force, prevention of incomplete insertion, easier assembly and attachment. In addition, recent requirements include environmentally friendly product development, noise-shield characteristics, and ergonomic capabilities.

An in-vehicle HFC connector is used to connect a coaxial cable and a VICS,GPS, or TV receiver. The connector reduces reflection and transmisson loss and suppresses noise radiation from the connector. Moreover, the downsized connector saves the mounting space of in-vehicle equipment.
